Haywire is expected to open at 805 E. New Hope Drive in Cedar Park in winter 2027, a representative for FB Society told What Now Austin. An exact opening date has not yet been set.

The company plans to build a 14,284-square-foot restaurant with covered and uncovered patios. A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing puts the estimated construction cost at $5 million, with work scheduled from March 1 through November 1, 2027.

Haywire opened its first restaurant in 2017 at 5901 Winthrop Street, Suite 110, in Plano’s Legacy West. This location operates with three floors, with a whiskey lounge, dining room, and rooftop patio. The brand has since grown to five restaurants across Texas, with locations in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin joining the Plano flagship.

Cedar Park would be Haywire’s second restaurant in the Austin area. The Domain Northside location, at 11501 Rock Rose Avenue, Suite 100, offers lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Haywire sources ingredients across Texas for a menu of steaks, seafood, burgers, and sandwiches, plus dishes such as mini elk tacos and chicken-fried steak. The bar serves wine, whiskey, and cocktails.

Behind the brand is FB Society, the Dallas-based hospitality group led by CEO Jack Gibbons. Haywire shares that portfolio with Sixty Vines, Whiskey Cake, Mexican Sugar, and Ida Claire, among other concepts.
