Pacific Catch, a renowned casual dining chain celebrated for its Pacific Rim cuisine, is set to open a new location at Brea Mall. This new establishment is part of a broader redevelopment project at the 1065 Brea Mall Rd. complex, Brea Now reveals.

The eatery is anticipated to join an impressive lineup of new tenants, including Din Tai Fung, Philz Coffee, The Melt, North Italia, Zara, and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Over 119,000 square feet of retail space is being updated, alongside a 90,000-square-foot resort-style fitness center, and a 380-unit apartment building is being built.

Founded in 2003 by Keith Cox and Aaron Noveshen, Pacific Catch offers a diverse menu featuring fresh seafood dishes inspired by various islander cuisines. Popular menu items include fish tacos, poke bowls, and teriyaki-glazed dishes. The restaurant is known for its commitment to sustainability, focusing on wild-caught seafood and environmentally responsible practices.

Previously, Pacific Catch opened a location in Tustin, marking its first foray into Orange County. There is also one in La Jolla, but the majority of the chain’s outposts are in the San Francisco Bay area.

The brand was not available for comment before publication.
