Lucky Tree will be heading to Moore Square at 225 E Martin St. in downtown Raleigh, marking the second location for the coffee brand.
The spot will go into the 635-square-foot space formerly home to Square Burger. The location also features a 1,675-square-foot patio, according to Triangle Business Journal.
Twin sisters Amanda and Ashley Faries opened the coffee shop in 2015. It focuses on organic coffee blends and wheat-free food items, and it features and supports local artists.
“The inspiration of Lucky Tree comes from their neighborhood treehouse,” the Lucky Tree website states. “The décor is artistically put together using items that would have otherwise been discarded. Much like their childhood treehouse, they hope that people within the community would consider it their own. Lucky Tree represents artwork and handmade items from more than 50 local artists.”
The new location is part of the city’s dedication to ongoing development in that area of town. The coffee shop is expected to open in early 2025.
