Coco’s African Kitchen Opening in Winchester

The restaurant will serve dishes from Nigerian and other West African cuisines

Local restaurant Coco’s African Kitchen is preparing to open its doors in Winchester. The restaurant, which has already built a sizable local following, is currently marked “Temporarily Closed” on Google Maps in its location at 2660 S Maryland Parkway, Unit 21.

A menu on the brand’s website includes Special Dishes like Beans/Ewa with Plantain, Catfish Pepper Soup (Cooked with African Spices), and Fried Whole Tilapia with Plantains. On Demand Dishes include Nkwobi (Diced Cow Feet, Tendons), spiced with African Spices and Ukpaka/Ugba, and Meat Pie.

Situated in the Maryland Parkway location, at Sahara Towne Square, Coco’s African Kitchen is part of a restaurant community that includes Mariscos La Lomita Seafood & Sushi and Carlito’s Cuban Food.

A representative confirmed news of the opening with What Now on Thursday. The representative said no opening date has been determined yet.
