Lehigh Valley Caniacs won’t have to wait much longer to sink their teeth into some of the hottest chicken on the market. Raising Cane’s has set an opening date for its first restaurant in the region, and it’s coming this summer, reports local media outlet WFMZ.

The incredibly popular chain is bringing its signature chicken tenders and sandwiches to 6240 Hamilton Boulevard in Lower Macungie Township. A Raising Cane’s spokesperson confirms that the Lehigh Valley shop will begin feeding hungry customers on August 6.

The restaurant was first proposed about a year ago. It is part of Raising Cane’s considerable push for expansion and growth in the area; the chicken giant also has a location in development at 1836 Catasauqua Road in Hanover Township.

Raising Cane’s simple but delicious menu has earned it a massive fan-following. The restaurant serves made-to-order chicken fingers or chicken sandwiches. Side choices include Texas toast, crinkle cut fries, and coleslaw. The secret recipe Cane’s sauce seals the chain’s reputation as one of the top fast-casual chicken options.
