Marked “Temporarily closed” on Google Maps, the Cold Stone Creamery located in Rhodes Ranch Town Center, at 7435 S Durango Dr, Suite 103, is preparing for imminent reopening under new ownership, franchisee Harry Bibbings told What Now Wednesday.

Bibbings says the restaurant required repairs after changing hands from previous ownership but that these are nearly finished.

It’s not the only Cold Stone news from Bibbings. The local franchisee says he is also preparing to launch a new Cold Stone store at the intersection of West Lake Mead Boulevard and US Route 95. This too, is opening soon—though not as soon as the Durango Drive location, Bibbings hopes will up and running as early this week.

“For more than 30 years we’ve served up the finest, freshest ice cream, cakes, smoothies and shakes using only the highest quality ingredients, and of course, our signature process of preparing your custom ice cream creation on a frozen granite stone,” says the brand’s website.

“It’s all about what we call the 10-Minute Vacation®… that 10-minute getaway you deserve from the world outside our doors. Just head inside any Cold Stone Creamery, and that’s what you’ll get. From our enthusiastic, singing crew members, to the shared laughter of a family enjoying a treat together — if it’s making you, your friends, or your loved ones happy, then we’re doing our jobs right!”
