According to a recently submitted permit application, the restaurateur behind the Embarcadero’s Mediterranean restaurant Barcha plans to debut a new eatery, Bon Delire, in the neighborhood

Coming to Pier 3Suite 102, the concept will land near restaurants such as Coqueta, La Mar Cocina Peruana, and The Waterfront.

What Now San Francisco contacted Bon Delire’s owner, Kais Bouzidi, to inquire about the concept, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, based on Barcha’s success, Bon Delire is sure to not disappoint.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, Barcha describes itself as a “modern spot for Mediterranean eats in an arty, upbeat atmosphere.” On the menu, patrons can find appetizers such as hummus and dumplings, and mains including seafood tangine and grilled bavette steak.

It’s still unclear when Bon Delire plans to open, so stay tuned for updates.
