The restaurant community east of the North Federal Highway–East Commercial Boulevard intersection in Fort Lauderdale will soon be home to the city’s first Pokémoto location. The New Haven-born poke concept has four locations currently operating in the state of Florida, and another five (at least) on the way. Fort Lauderdale’s will open at 2703 E Commercial Boulevard, according to the brand’s website.
Pokémoto’s menu features build-your-own Poké Bowls, Poké Burritos, and Poké Salads, allowing guests to choose from proteins like Ahi Tuna, Salmon and Chicken, throwing in healthy mix-ins like cucumber, jalapeño, edamame, and seaweed.
There’s also a selection of Signature Bowls like the Hawaiian (Hawaiian Style Poké with wild-caught ahi tuna, sweet onions, cilantro tossed in spicy mayonnaise, topped with green onions, shredded nori, and crispy onions), Sweet and Spicy Shrimp (Shrimp, corn, cilantro, jalapeños, and sweet onions tossed in garlic oil, topped with wonton crisps), and Pokémoto Tofu (Organic tofu adds a twist to Hawaiian style poké with sweet onions, and edamame tossed in Pokémoto Chojang, topped with green onions, toasted rice puffs, and sesame seeds).
What Now confirmed news of the opening with franchisee Shai Ivgi on Thursday.
