Colfax Starbucks to Be Renovated

Starbucks to set to undergo major renovations at its 2975 Colfax Avenue location, records show. The company has been working with the city and county of Denver to get permission to make exterior improvements at the existing shop.

The property is a 1,850-square-foot store with a drive-thru that has capacity for seven vehicles. Through this project, the location is set to receive significant upgrades to its drive-thru system.

The project will include the installation of a footer for a digital order screen (DOS) and a small canopy, as well as a footer for a drive-through vehicle clearance bar. The contractors listed for the project are Engineered Paving and Crown Jade Design and Engineering.

According to permit records, the commercial construction permit was listed as “in progress” on July 9; building plans were approved the same day. The total construction valuation is listed at $5,000.
