Fox’s Pizza Den is preparing to open its fourth Colorado location inside the Walmart at 9400 Ralston Road in Arvada, according to the franchisees for the store. The upcoming QSR spot will be operated by franchise owners Josh Hicks, Kaylin Hicks, and Raley Parker, adding another location to the ownership group’s growing presence in the state.
Development is underway, with permitting completed and construction progressing toward completion. Hicks tells What Now they are currently working through equipment installation, inspections, and operational preparations, including hiring.
The approximately 1,403-square-foot in-store Walmart location will offer Fox’s signature pizzas, wedgies, hoagies, strombolis, and other menu favorites. It will debut for shoppers next month, operating daily from 11 AM to 10 PM.
In 2024, the franchisee trio introduced the first Fox’s Pizza Den to the state, and the group currently operates three locations in Elizabeth, Peyton/Falcon, and Loveland. Prior to entering the brand’s franchising system, Hicks had more than 15 years of experience in restaurant operations, hospitality, multi-unit management, business development, and sales leadership.
“We’re excited to continue growing Fox’s Pizza Den throughout Colorado and bringing our food to the Arvada community,” Director of Franchise Sales Jake Haupricht told What Now Denver. “Our Walmart locations offer a convenient way for customers to enjoy a great meal while shopping or pick up dinner to take home to their families. We’re fortunate to have dedicated franchise owners like Josh, Kaylin, and Raley helping us introduce Fox’s Pizza Den to new communities.”
Fox’s Pizza Den was founded in 1971 and began franchising a few years later. The company has now grown to approximately 200 locations nationwide, with a presence in nearly two dozen states, its website shows.
