A beloved staple in Southern dining, Waffle House, is expanding its reach to Mont Belvieu with a brand-new location planned for 3515 Briarwood Bend. The familiar yellow sign, known to early risers and late-night diners alike, will soon bring its iconic 24-hour comfort food and warm ambiance to the growing community of Mont Belvieu.
The construction of the 1,840-square-foot restaurant is projected to cost approximately $300,000. The new site marks Waffle House‘s continued commitment to meeting the demand for its reliable, no-frills dining experience, serving up everything from waffles to burgers, any time of day or night. The new build will allow locals and travelers passing through to enjoy Waffle House’s signature dishes, whether stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or a midnight snack.
The Mont Belvieu location is expected to feature the same cozy layout, counter seating, and open kitchen format that fans have come to love. The restaurant’s design ensures that patrons have a front-row seat to the preparation of their meal, which has long been part of the Waffle House charm.
This new location will provide both a convenient stop for passersby along I-10 and a reliable dining spot for the surrounding community. Waffle House’s choice to expand to this area reflects the brand’s strategy to grow within Texas, bringing its signature comfort food and accessible dining experience to even more of the state’s communities.
According to a permit on file, the project will break ground in June 2025, with completion expected by December 2025.
