According to a recently submitted permit application, Berkeley’s Chinese restaurant Easterly plans to reopen at a new address.

Formerly located at 2142 Center Street, the concept is now coming to 2323 Shattuck Avenue, where it will land near establishments such as CorePower Yoga, Gold Bean Cafe, and Toss Noodle Bar.

What Now San Francisco briefly spoke with the concept’s owner, Jason Wang, but he could not provide additional information before the time of publication.

Should the menu remain unchanged, locals can look forward to offerings such as stir-fried pork, marinated crawfish tails, and stewed yellow eel with sweet potato noodles.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
