According to a recent zoning clearance pending with the City of Oakland, Great Wall Co. is planning to relocate to 328 10th St. They are currently posted two doors down in Suite 123 at 320 10th St. in Chinatown.
Co-Owner Xuemei Chen confirmed with What Now San Francisco that they are planning to move and will hopefully be fully up and running from their new spot sometime in January. Great Wall Co. is known as a gift shop, selling odds and ends that could only be found in hole-in-the-wall Chinatown stores.
This particular shop is better known locally as a reliable agent for Western Union and Chinese telecommunication services. In addition to their gift shop inventory, you can also stop by Great Wall Co. for California Lottery tickets and more.
Check them out on 10th Street next time you’re in the neighborhood. Even after they have moved, their new location certainly will not be hard to find.
