Sonoma County’s Superburger might be coming to Petaluma! The local burger chain has applied for a beer and wine license transfer at 229 N. McDowell Blvd., where Scowley’s Burgers currently stands.

Representatives for Superburger have not returned our requests for comment at the time of publication. But based on our sources, we suspect that Superburger will be taking over the Scowley’s space or at least offering a helping hand with rebranding.

The Superburger chain originated in the 1950s on Fourth Street in Santa Rosa. They are known for old fashioned ingredients, using local bakery buns and freshly ground choice beef. Their burgers and hand spun milkshakes make the perfect meals to satisfy the whole family, which it has been doing for decades.

Now, the chain boasts locations all over Sonoma County, including Bennett Valley and Stony Point in Santa Rosa, plus stores in Windsor and Cotati. Check out www.originalsuperburger.com for more information.
