Right by the Cal State Fullerton campus, Our Nest has become a local favorite for breakfast and lunch. Now, the family-owned restaurant is in the permitting process for a possible second location in Brea, at 732 N Brea Blvd., records show.
Our Nest is known for its welcoming atmosphere and delicious brunch options. The Fullerton location is open 8 AM to 2 PM Wednesday through Sunday, and has been recognized as a Neighborhood Favorite in 2023 on Nextdoor.
Chef Jonpaul Ugay, the owner, shared with What Now OC that the business recently applied for permits, and the project’s status will be known in August. But he said the team is “very excited” about the prospect of expanding.
Records with the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Environmental Health Division show that plans were received on July 9th for a “new construction” project. The address listed is a closed-down Round Table Pizza.
