SOTToVOCE Cafe, a Palm Desert hotspot for pastries, paninis, wine, and coffee, is expanding to Palm Springs. According to the Desert Sun, the concept will open a second shop at 1345 North Palm Canyon Drive.
Owner Natalie Silva confirmed to What Now OC that there is a new location in the works at The Shops At Thirteen Forty Five complex. It will open in September, in a building designed by renowned architect Emerson Stewart Williams, who is known for his work on the Frank Sinatra House and the Contemporary Museum.
“We are at a good point of our renovation. We are looking into personnel but some will come from the other store,” Silva said.
The cafe, which opened in 2022, is known for its unique blend of Italian and Californian flavors. It offers an array of coffee drinks, pastries, paninis, and an impressive wine selection, and the new Palm Springs location will have the same menu.
Silva has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry. She previously opened four successful restaurants in Milan, Italy, and one on the Riviera Bordighera. L’Elephant, her first venture, was the first above-ground gay bar in Milan.
