Country looks and stylish workwear will soon be sold at a Cherry Hill, NJ retailer. Boot Barn, a California-based Western apparel retail chain, will open its first New Jersey store at the Garden State Pavilion at 2232 Marlton Pike W. in late May. The store will take over a 15,200 sq. ft. space in the shopping center formerly occupied by Modell’s. Boot Barn has also planned locations in Melville, NJ and Harrisburg, PA. Their second Delaware store will open in Dover in late July.
“We’re excited to continue to open up stores in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and to build out our market,” Charlie Arbing, the company’s VP of Real Estate and Construction, told What Now Philadelphia.
Arbing says the Cherry Hill store will give them footing to grow into the metro Philadelphia area. The company currently has stores in Newark, DE, and Pennsylvania locations in Erie, Monaca, Uniontown, Whitehall, Wyomissing, and York. Boot Barn plans to continue to expand north through New Jersey and into Albany. The retailer will also extend into Connecticut, another untapped market, and hopes to put a store in every state.
Boot Barn made their name selling cowboy boots and western wear in their first store in 1978. Now the leading retailer of western and workwear apparel in the nation, Boot Barn offers a modern take on men’s and women’s country chic fashion. They also provide stylish but durable work apparel and sell outdoor gear and fashion for lovers of nature and the open road. Boot Barn’s customers aren’t just cowboys, they are the men and women who fuel our country.
“We say that our customers feed America, build America, and protect America,” their website states. “It is an honor to support the varying lifestyles of the people who make our country so great.”
