A brand new dessert shop is coming to Marlton Crossing that will sell Bundt cakes and… nothing else!
Nothing Bundt Cake is a popular chain of desert shops that is known for highlighting the oft-underappreciated Bundt cake. The brand was established in 1997, when founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz developed the concept in their Las Vegas home kitchen. Offering an exclusive selection of handcrafted Bundt Cakes in a wide variety of delicious flavors and sizes, Nothing Bundt Cake additionally offers a selection of retail items like party supplies, décor, and gifts, establishing the popular cake shop as a one-stop shop for celebrations of all kind.
Today, the brand now boasts 430 locations across 40+ states and Canada, and is recognized by many as the premiere store for specialty Bundt Cakes. The store offers sizes that range from “Bundtinis” to “Bundlets”, as well as tiered cake options. They also offer 10 different flavors of cakes, including one gluten free option and additional seasonal flavor, though they only have one flavor of cream cheese frosting. The frosting is the very lifeblood of Nothing Bundt Cakes, and all cake flavors are designed to pair perfectly with the brand’s rich and creamy frosting.
Now, it appears that the brand is getting ready to open a brand new location in Marlton Crossing. According to a recent update of the mall’s website, a new Nothing Bundt Cakes outpost will be moving into Suite 147/49, between a recently opened Duck Donuts and a Massage Envy. The new cake shop will be replacing Madras Indian Cuisine, a local Indian restaurant that sadly closed in 2020. Before that, the space previously housed Amma’s Kitchen.
The new location is relatively spacious, and features a total of 2,290 square feet of space. While there is one nearby location in Cherry Hill that opened last year, there are few other locations nearby, with the closest being north of Trenton and another in Lakewood, so locals are more than ready to enjoy the new store.
