One of Pennsylvania’s favorite breweries is finally getting ready to reopen in Kennett Square after a fire in 2021 forced the location to close indefinitely.

Victory Brewing is a Pennsylvania-based craft brewery that was born out of a passion to introduce Americans to high-quality beer and a drinking experience rooted in connectivity. The brand was established by founders Bill Covaleski and Ron Barchet twenty six years ago in Downingtown, serving full-flavored and innovative beers that were inspired by Bill and Ron’s many travel experiences abroad

Today, Victory is recognized across the country as one of the most decorated craft breweries, and is known for creating award winning brands like Golden Monkey, Prima Pils, Dirtwolf, and Storm King. Today, Victory operates four different taprooms in Pennsylvania as well as one in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is known as Pennsylvania’s second-largest craft brand family.

Tragically, Victory’s Kennett Square taproom was shut down indefinitely after a fire broke out in the building in January 2021. The fire broke out around 6:30 PM and engulfed most of the four-story building that housed Victory’s taproom as well as 33 apartment units. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries reported from the blaze, but the Victory Taproom was forced to shut down for an undisclosed amount of time. Now though, more information is finally breaking about the team’s plans to reopen the space.

Victory fans were delighted to discover this morning that the Kennett Square taproom had been updated with a brand new sign. The sign reads “You’ve been asking… Victory is coming to Kennett Square!” The sign additionally notes that the reopening is scheduled for Fall 2022. This would bring the total amount of Victory taprooms in Pennsylvania to four, now that their Philadelphia location opened last October at 1776 Benjamin Franklin Parkway. While Victory has not yet made reference to the reopening on their social media channels, you can follow the brand on Instagram for further updates as well as new insights into their latest new brews.
