The Jersey Shore Restaurant Group is preparing to answer the call from rumbling Waretown stomachs hungry for a new place to get a seafood fix. The young and ambitious hospitality group is bringing its concept, Harpoon Willy’s, to the region next year.

The restaurant, opening at 537 US-9, will be the eatery’s third location. Harpoon Willy’s is currently feeding guests in its Manasquan home, and is developing a Robbinsville outpost, on track to open this fall.

The Jersey Shore Restaurant Group initially intended to turn the Waretown real estate into a concept called Three Story Grill. While JSRG has abandoned its plans for that project, a press release provided to What Now Philadelphia states that the group is maintaining its original plans to develop a banquet hall adjacent to the space.

JSRG CEO and CFO John Kitrick is enthusiastic about bringing Harpoon Willy’s cozy charms to a broader audience. He states “ From familiar wooden rafters and stone fireplaces that will warmly accentuate the dining rooms and bars, to menus which will feature our beloved dishes and daily specialties, we’re looking forward to bringing Harpoon Willy’s to new communities, and welcoming guests to experience the charm that has consistently defined it.”

While a precise opening date is not presently available, JSRG anticipates opening the Harpoon Willy’s Waretown location in early 2025.
