Living up to the latter half of its name, Honeygrow is expanding its New Jersey presence. The popular chain is bringing its signature healthy spin on fast-casual cuisine to Mount Laurel Township, reports QSR.

The restaurant has recently signed a lease for a space at 1240 Nixon Drive in the East Gate Square shopping center. The building most recently housed a Wendy’s, so while renovations will be necessary, the location is already outfitted for a fast-casual eatery.

Founded by Justin Rosenberg in 2012, Honeygrow offers diners the chance to enjoy swift meals, prepared fresh with healthy ingredients. The concept has some signature dishes available, however most guests are drawn to the opportunity to craft their own stir fries by selecting a base, a protein, garnishes and sauces.

The company has been in expansion mode. Rosenberg states: “We’re excited to continue our strategic vision within multiple states that have truly embraced the brand for so many years. We have much more ground to cover and I’m extraordinarily proud of our team for always rising to the challenge of successful growth.”

The chain currently has over 40 locations, seven of which are in New Jersey.
