Created by CEO Todd Graves as a school assignment, Raising Cane’s is expanding in major Florida markets, including South Florida, Orlando, and Tampa Bay. A new South Florida location has been proposed for Kendall, on the corner of Southwest 88th Street and Southwest 158th Avenue, according to recent coverage by the South Florida Business Journal.

Owned by Kendall Town Center Association Inc., the site in question is part of Kendall Town Center, a mixed-use community that’s still under development and is expected to include retail and entertainment outlets along with hotels and residences.

“The national quick-service chain is proposing a Raising Cane’s location with a double drive-thru lane, a parking lot for diners and mobile order pickup and a patio for outdoor dining,” says the Business Journal coverage, citing a written statement submitted with plans for the location.

The Raising Cane’s menu features the brand’s mainstay chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, Texas Toast, and coleslaw. These come in combos like the Box Combo, the Sandwich Combo, and the Caniac Combo, which packs in six chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, a drink, and two ramekins of the brand’s signature Cane’s Sauce.
