For several years, Culture Sports Bar and Live Entertainment in Baton Rouge built up a cult following with its Southern comfort food, signature drinks and live entertainment. The bar-restaurant was such a success that it outgrew its original location, and a follow-up concept called Flavor’s Restaurant and Bar is slated to open up in the Mall of Louisiana this May.

Owner Quincy Quiett recently talked to What Now New Orleans about the loyalty of his customers at Culture: “A lot of our customers didn’t really go anywhere else. They just came to Culture. It was a grown folks setting, and they really loved it.”

Quiett said the new concept will have a much bigger space, allowing him to expand on his original vision. He added that he’s looking forward to reviving a winning formula of good food, good drinks and good music.

“Get ready because culture is back!” he said.
