Hamsa Mediterranean Grill, a new restaurant concept offering kosher Mediterranean food, will open next month at the intersection of West Flamingo Road and South El Capitan Way. Licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County by LVP Food Service Concept LLC shows any opening planned for 9010 W Flamingo Road, inside the convenience store located there.

“That’s going to be a strictly kosher kitchen,” Jeanette Davis, Senior Vice President of Operations at LV Foodservice Concepts, told What Now on Thursday afternoon. “The Chicken Shawarma, plus the family meal for Shabbat on Friday nights, those are our #1 and #2 biggest sellers.”

Davis says Hamsa Mediterranean Kitchen is expected to launch in February.

It’s been a big year for LV Food Service Concepts, What Now observed.

“Big year is an understatement,” said Davis. “Basically, construction delays in the pipeline pushed about 14 restaurant openings straight into January.”

We’ve actually lost count. For one thing, there’s the long-awaited Vegas debut of Bojangles this Monday at 9250 S Rainbow Blvd. Then there’s the new Charleys Cheesesteaks opening at Decatur and Russell, a Sbarro that just opened at Lake Mead and Gateway this week, another Charleys that opened on December 19 on Fort Apache Road—and that’s only to name a few. Meanwhile still more news broke this week of a 3-unit deal with Checkers and Rally’s (the first of which is yet another opening this month.)

But Davis seems to thrive on it. “I have such a great bunch of people on my team. We each have our specialty, and when all come together it really works.”

Can’t argue with results! To wit, keep an eye for new Bojangles, Charleys Cheesesteaks, Sbarro, and Checkers and Rally’s locations opening this month, along with Hamsa Mediterranean Grill this February!
