The Victorville Daily Press reports that a longtime business chain is being replaced by Dutch Bros. China Palace Buffet, located at 15555 Main Street in the Cardenas Shopping Center will make way for a new drive-thru store.

According to VVNG, the plans were approved during a Hesperia Development Review Committee meeting in March 2024. The project entails demolishing the current 5,600-square-foot free-standing building and building a 950-square-foot coffee shop.

This new coffee shop in Hesperia marks Dutch Bros’ continued expansion in the High Desert region. Since opening its first local store in Apple Valley in 2020, Dutch Bros has added locations in Victorville and Barstow.

Dutch Bros is headquartered in Oregon and operates over 950 stores nationwide, primarily on the West Coast and Southwest. Yahoo Finance reported that the company experienced a 28% revenue increase in Q3 2024, reaching $338 million.
