Proving that good things can often come in small packages, a micro bakery is preparing to make Philly a little sweeter. New June, the petite but mighty concept from renowned chef Noelle Blizzard, is opening its first brick and mortar location in Brewerytown later this year, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The bakery will be firing up its ovens in a 900 square foot space located at 2623 West Girard Avenue. While a precise opening date is not currently available, the website assures that it is coming soon.

Blizzards little bakery that can has earned rave reviews since she founded it in 2021. New June has earned accolades and recognition from sources as varied as Good Morning America, Architectural Digest, and Philadelphia Magazine. Blizzard herself was named a 2024 Rising Star Chef by Star Chefs magazine.

The website describes what customers can look forward to, stating: “We offer a design-forward selection of seasonal bespoke cakes, pies & tarts. Made with the highest quality ingredients, our cakes are not only beautiful, but delicious too.”
