According to a recently submitted permit application, food truck concept Chicks and Love Pizza is gearing up to debut its first brick-and-mortar spot in Pleasant Hill.

Coming to 2976 Dorothy Drive, the “AAPI, women, LGBTQIA, and family-owned small business” will land near establishments such as Rooted Coffee, Sol y Luna Cocina Mexicana, and Wence’s Restaurant.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Vanda Chong, to inquire about her plans for the spot, but she could not provide additional information before publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Chicks and Love, it offers a brief introduction on its website: “Established in 2009, Chicks and Love Pizza was founded by wife and wife team Kellie Joe and Vanda Chong… two native SF Bay Area professional women: one teacher/chef and one designer/nurse.”

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
