According to recent reporting, the Rochester, New York based sandwich shop DiBella’s Subs is opening a new location in the Worthington Gateway development at 7105 N High St. As detailed in a Facebook post on Office Brokerage Group’s page, the Ohio commercial real estate company confirmed that DiBella’s Subs is one of several new restaurant tenants slated to move into the mixed-use development.

DiBella’s Subs is known for their submarine style sandwiches served on freshly-baked bread. The sandwich eatery started as a family-run market in Rochester, New York almost 100 years ago. Today the sub shop can be found in five states, New York, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. The menu features sub sandwiches that range from the meaty godfather, made with genoa salami and capicola and spicy ham, to an albacore tuna and veggie sub.

Currently, there are two DiBella’s Subs open in Columbus, and earlier this year, What Now Columbus reported that a third location is expected to open next year in Westerville at 4980 E Dublin Granville Rd. What Now Columbus reached out to a representative with DiBella’s Subs to determine the projected timeline for opening the Worthington location, but didn’t receive an immediate response.
