A new dining destination is headed to Frayser, as Flame Grill prepares to open its doors at 3065 Thomas St.

This new venture has been in the works for nearly a year, with construction crews remodeling the former Metro by T-Mobile location into an eatery.

While owner Kenny Evans has chosen to keep the details under wraps for now, the building’s exterior features a prominent “coming soon” banner. Further clues can be found in the restaurant’s signage, which hints at a menu showcasing a spread of wings, fish, “and more.”

Additionally, recent permits filed on the city’s website indicate that Flame Grill will offer indoor seating for up to 17 guests, suggesting a quick, fast-casual dining experience for patrons.
