According to a recent tweet from B Talent, the brains behind Seven Faced Bird Ramen will soon introduce another concept at 212 E Ohio Street.
A representative of Seven Faced Bird Ramen could not provide in-depth information but stated that the concept will be called Birdman Ramen and is opening soon.
Timeout describes Seven Faced Bird Ramen as being “Located in the food court of the Gangnam Market Asian grocery store, Seven Faced Bird Ramen is a rarity because it eschews beef and pork in favor of turkey.”
“Bones are used to craft clear shoyu and creamy shio broths while the meat is seared to make chashu, bundled with shrimp into wontons or stir-fried as part of yakisoba. Grab a bowl and visit the neighboring stalls for milk tea and dessert.”
An article from the Chicago Eater adds, “For the last 10 months, Kenny Yang, the owner of Strings Ramen Shop, has tirelessly worked toward opening his new River West grocery store, Gangnam Market, by bringing in more Chinese, Korean, and Japanese items.”
“Over the last few months, he’s transformed the former Urban Market space, which has morphed from a generic American grocery store into a shop where customers can pick up Korean rice cakes, honey butter potato chips, and more.”
