Dutch Bros Coffee, the Oregon-based drive-through coffee chain, is set to open at 6345 N. Beach St. According to a representative for the company, they’re working on getting construction started “really soon and hope to open mid next year”.
Per the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and first reported by Community Impact, the incoming coffee shop will demolish an existing structure in order to build the new 950-square-foot building. As with other locations, the new Fort Worth spot will serve coffee via drive-thru.
Launched in 1992, Dutch Bros has become a major coffee chain in recent years, keeping up with nationally known names like Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts and even outperforming them in some aspects. It is known, of course, for its coffee – cold brews, freezes, Americanos – but also offers a variety of other drinks including teas, smoothies, lemonades and sparkling soda water.
Dutch Bros Coffee has opened almost 40 locations throughout Texas and is rapidly expanding. Its two current Fort Worth locations are at 5328 Sycamore School Road and 3007 Altamesa Blvd. A forthcoming third location is at 2317 W. Berry St., and they are looking to open it by the end of this year.
“We’re really excited to be part of the Fort Worth community and look forward to opening more shops in the future!” the company representative said.
