Steve Fields‘ Steakhouse is planning to open in early 2022 at 4900 W Park Blvd in Plano. An exact opening date has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be sometime in late January. The location was previously home to Brick House Tavern + Tap which closed earlier this year.
Owner and restaurateur Steve Fields was hoping to open the restaurant in November, but supply chain issues prevented that from happening.
“I want to thank all of our Steve Fields Steakhouse friends for your patience and understanding on the delay of our “Grand Opening” at 4900 West Park Blvd,” a message posted to Facebook read. “Many of the delays are due to supply chain issues, but we will continue to work diligently to finish construction as soon as possible. Please accept our sincere apology. We now plan on opening in late January of next year. Stay tuned as “Good things take time!” We look forward to taking care of all your needs soon.”
The restaurant was previously open as Steve Fields’ Steak + Lobster Lounge for 14 years at 5013 W Park Blvd. It closed in 2019.
Guests who are familiar with the old Steve Fields restaurant can expect the same steak and seafood offerings at the forthcoming location. The new steakhouse will offer prime steaks, fresh seafood, hospitable service and lively piano entertainment nightly. It will also include an enclosed 1,200-square-foot patio.
In April, Fields told The Dallas Morning News that he didn’t know if he had the energy or stamina to open and operate a restaurant again. “But after going through that year of COVID and not leaving the house, I’m ready. I am ready!” said Fields.
