According to public filings, Five Below is planning a new store project at 1515 N. Town East Blvd. in Mesquite. The proposed location is along North Town East Boulevard, a commercial corridor in the city.

Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Philadelphia, Five Below is a national specialty value retailer offering merchandise across categories such as candy, style, party supplies, room décor, arts and crafts, technology and sports. As its name suggests, most items are priced at $5 or below.

The retailer’s stores are designed to appeal primarily to tweens and teens, while also serving shoppers across other age groups. Its assortment includes seasonal merchandise, toys, accessories, beauty products, home goods, electronics and licensed items.

Public filings list a construction completion date of October 2027. However, dates listed in public records are not always definitive and may not reflect the retailer’s actual opening timeline.

Five Below’s store locator currently lists two existing locations in Mesquite: 19161 LBJ Freeway and 500 N. Galloway Ave., Suite 110. The Town East Boulevard project would give the retailer a third location in the city.

In August 2026, Five Below reported operating 2,022 stores across 46 states, according to its second-quarter report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
