A popular Mexican restaurant and bar with locations in Fort Worth and San Diego is opening a new spot in Dallas. El Chingon plans to open at 3404 Ross Ave. just a few blocks from The Arts District in Dallas. The space will undergo renovations for the new restaurant and bar.

El Chingon, a restaurant concept from California-based GBOD Hospitality Group, offers a fun atmosphere for its guests. Guest DJs often provide entertainment to guests enjoying drink specials. Taco and tequila flights are available on Forty-Twosdays, a “next-level Taco Tuesday,” according to the El Chingon Fort Worth website.

The “Bad Ass Mexican” bar and restaurant features a menu that includes tacos, burritos, fajitas, salads, and more. A variety of signature cocktails and tequilas are options. You can reserve VIP bottle service, which includes a reserved VIP table, express entry, and your own personal server.

The Fort Worth El Chingon opened in late 2020 at 2800 Bledsoe St., Ste. 100. The San Diego spot opened in the Gaslamp Quarter in 2017. El Chingon in Dallas could open in early 2024, according to a recent project filing.
