Town Center Colleyville will add the newest ZaLat Pizza location to its variety of stores, restaurants, and entertainment, according to the development’s website. This will be the 21st location in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area and the 31st overall — all in Texas.
The approximately 2,200 square feet venue is seeking to open to the public in early 2025. ZaLat Pizza is a Texas cult classic, popular for its rotating flavor profiles of handcrafted artisanal pizzas.
Khanh Nguyễn, the founder of the company, told Community Impact that the Colleyville spot will be a little different than the other locations since it will allow limited in-store dining. He said the plan is to start renovations this fall and open in the first quarter of 2025. Nguyễn confirmed the news in a message to What Now Dallas but was not immediately available to comment.
Zalat Pizza touts its “phenomenal success” from operating as “a lean pizza-only concept inspired by tech companies like Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI,” according to its website.
“Khanh Nguyen, the CEO and founder, wants Zalat Pizza to be the rising tide that lifts up all his employees,” according to the restaurant chain’s website. “Not only does Zalat Pizza provide all employees with full benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k) plan, EVERYONE – including cashiers and pizza makers — gets stock options in the company, too.”
