Florida-grown brunch café First Watch is planning their third lowcountry location for a new shopping center in North Charleston.

According to reporting by Post and Courier, a new First Watch will open at the Cedar Grove Commons shopping center by Thanksgiving. The café will be part of the newest phase of the in-progress development, which is also slated to include a Chicken Salad Chick, Buffalo Wild Wings, and European Wax Center.

The first phase of the shopping center was delivered by developer Collett Real Estate in 2022 and is anchored by grocery store Lidl, along with a HomeGoods, Ross, Ulta, Petsmart, Five Below and Firehouse Subs.

First Watch was founded in 1983 in Bradenton, Florida and today has 500 locations in 29 states. The breakfast and brunch chain has become popular for its healthier options, including egg white omelets, farm stand breakfast tacos, and fresh-pressed juices.
