After closing its flagship restaurant in downtown earlier this year, Verde will open three new locations throughout Charleston in 2024.
“This winter we’re painting the town green,” founder and owner Jennifer Ferrebee told the Post and Courier.
The salad makers will be launching their carryout concept, Verde On The Go, at Charleston College’s The Market at Liberty Dining Hall, similar to its outlet at the Medical University of South Carolina. It will set up a headquarters in North Charleston equipped with a production kitchen, office and restaurant offerings. Verde is also returning to downtown with a new store at 433 King St with a menu of made-to-order dishes and a rotating selection of grab-and-go options, breakfast items, iced coffee and matcha.
Verde currently has six open locations – four sit down restaurants in Mount Pleasant, Avondale, Belle Hall and Columbia, and two Verde On The Go outlets at the Charleston International Airport and the MUSC Main Hospital.
