Accomplished sommelier Lisa Lee and celebrated chef Jamie Daskalis have partnered up to create Tasting Room on 9th, set to open in Myrtle Beach this spring. The restaurant will be hosting hiring events on February 20 and 22 for line cooks, dishwashers, servers, bar backs, bussers and hosts, per a post that chef Daskalis shared on Facebook.
The new concept will feature a thoughtfully curated wine program, craft cocktails and international beer inside of a beautifully restored historic building that “strikes a balance between industrial charm and contemporary chic,” per its website.
Once open, the tasting room will also launch a members only wine club and merch.
Lee is a WEST Certified sommelier with a passion for pairing wine with food. Chef Daskalis also owns the wildly popular Johnny D’s Waffles and Benedicts in Myrtle Beach and has previously been voted Best Chef in Myrtle Beach
