New Vietnamese Eatery to Open Soon in Mount Pleasant

A new family-owned Vietnamese eatery is headed to Mt Pleasant. Pho Lucky & Boba Tea will soon open at 1145 Johnnie Dodds Blvd #103.

A Vietnamese refugee who came to the US in the 1980s when he was just 14 years old, owner Tin Pham said that the restaurant will be family-operated with his wife and children. While the exact opening date has not yet been set, the Phams project a debut sometime next month, in June 2024.

The Pham family will bring their take on pho—a favorite dish in Vietnam—to Mount Pleasant. Customers can expect Vietnamese classics such as pho with homemade broth, vermicelli salad bowls, egg rolls, summer rolls, bánh mì, boba tea, and Vietnamese coffee. Additionally, Pho Lucky & Boba Tea will offer a rotating menu of weekend specials featuring a variety of unique and authentic Vietnamese dishes.

The interior is designed to evoke the nature of Southeast Asia, incorporating bamboo and plants to create a cozy and casual atmosphere in the small space.
