Cerebral Brewing, the acclaimed neighborhood brewery known for its scientific approach to craft beer, is expanding its outdoor gathering space, according to records. Nestled at 1477 Monroe St, the business has filed permits to increase its patio area.

The company plans to add 1,090 square feet to its existing patio, transforming several parking spaces into more seating. There will be picnic tables, barrel tables, umbrellas, and a fence around the new addition.

Building plans were greenlit by the City and County of Denver on July 18. Four spaces, including one accessible spot, will remain available at the business, records state. UNUM: collaborative architecture firm is listed as working on the project.

Since its launch in 2015, Cerebral Brewing has been a beacon of quality and creativity in the Denver beer scene. Co-founders Sean Buchan and Dan McGuire have made a name for themselves with their precise, scientific brewing methods.
