According to recently filed permits, a new unnamed restaurant will open at 924 Jefferson St. in the North Nashville building that once housed EG&MC, a cocktail bar from the local team at Slim & Husky’s. The new owner of the space is Kirolles Yacoub, a local entrepreneur with other concepts like Vibes Bar & Lounge near Music Row within his portfolio.
Though many of the details about the new concept are unknown, including a name, menu offerings, or any online presence, the permit notes a $5,000 renovation will include interior remodeling, new floors, and sheetrock to be added to the space.
What Now Nashville reached out to Yacoub for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
Yacoub’s other establishment offers a variety of menu options including weekend brunch, appetizers like chicken wings and fried pickles, and dinner offerings such as salmon, pasta, sandwiches, and salad. Vibes Bar & Lounge also serves curated cocktails and hookah with operating hours of 12 p.m. to 3 a.m. on weekends, and 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. on weekdays. It’s unknown if the 924 Jefferson St. property will follow suit, however, it’s likely to be a full-service restaurant and bar given the second-generation space.
