The French-inspired neighborhood bakery and cafe, Paris Baguette, is slated to debut its first location in the Volunteer state likely sometime next year in Nashville’s neighboring town of Franklin, according to a recent franchise agreement with local owner Jim Osborn. The exact address of the new location is forthcoming.

With 4,000 units worldwide including nearly 150 in the United States, Paris Baguette is widely known for its fresh pastries, warm breads, crafted coffees, and signature cakes. Its menu caters to the breakfast and lunch crowds, offering convenience without compromise while leaving an impact on its community. The brand was founded in 1988 in South Korea, and just recently entered the United States market in 2015.

Opening its first Tennessee location comes after the company announced a goal of signing 160 new franchise agreements in 2023, according to a press release.

“We are on track to enter 45 new markets and open a total of 64 units by the end of 2023,” TJ Rogers, Paris Baguette Franchise Sales Manager, said in the release. “Even throughout the pandemic and its aftershocks, we did not shy away from opening additional units and exploring new markets. With great year-over-year revenue increases and a persistent interest in the brand from franchisees and consumers alike, we expect nothing but a strong continued growth trajectory for the brand.”

An interview with local franchise owner Jim Osborn is forthcoming.
