Luke Combs and Opry Entertainment Group have announced that their new venue Category 10 will be opening in November at 120 Second Ave. N. At the moment, construction is progressing to prepare the venue space for its fall opening.

The concept is a combination restaurant-bar-entertainment venue, featuring five distinct entertainment spaces across the three-story building, according to a release obtained by What Now Nashville. All the spaces are influenced by Combs’s songs, lifestyle and fans, with an emphasis on Combs’s hit song “Hurricane.”

The Honky-Tonk will be a two-story space at the front of the complex, featuring two bars, a shop and a central stage for live music. Hurricane Hall on the first floor will have the largest dance floor and stage in downtown Nashville and will be able to host ticketed concert events with up to 1,500 guests. It will feature two bars whose concepts come from Combs’s song “Beer Never Broke My Heart.”

The Still, located on the second floor, will be an intimate lounge space that offers an extensive bourbon program. In contrast, 5 Leaf Clover Sports Bar on the third floor will offer a sports bar vibe with large screens for viewing a variety of sports year-round as well as a sports ticker.

The final space, The Eye, will open in early 2025 and feature a 7,000-square-foot rooftop area with views of the Cumberland River and Nissan Stadium.

Opry Entertainment Group, which is associated with Ryman Hospitality Properties, has also been involved in entertainment venues such as the Ryman Auditorium, the Grand Ole Opry and Ole Red, a brand inspired by Blake Shelton.

Other celebrity bars and entertainment spaces have been popping up across Nashville. One of the most recent additions has been Riley Green’s Duck Blind, which opened this month.
