Belly Acres, a Memphis-based restaurant, is set to open its first out-of-market location at the Gulch in Nashville at 730 Eighth Ave. S.
The company’s fourth location is set to move into the former home of Fat Kat Slim’s, which is where Party Fowl intended to relocate to but instead decided to stay at its original location across the street, according to Nashville Business Journal. Belly Acres will now open here, joining several other recent additions at the Gulch, including Sushi Bar, Alba’s Empanadas, and Maiz de la Vida. It’s unclear when the new farm-to-table restaurant will open.
When Belly Acres opens, customers can expect an extensive menu featuring 100% grass-fed beef burgers, hand-breaded free-range chicken tenders, gigantic salads, fresh homemade veggies, and vegetarian burger options. The restaurant also offers over ten flavors of milkshakes and a delicious ice cream sandwich made with chocolate chip cookies. Belly Acres will be open for dineout, takeout, and delivery when it lands in Nashville.
This is a massive accomplishment for the company, founded in 2014 by Ben McLean and chef Rob Ray. Belly Acres currently has two locations in Memphis, with another on the way at the city’s upcoming Silo Square development. This will be the first time the company expands beyond Memphis, and it will land in a perfect site with plenty of foot traffic from other nearby businesses in a bustling neighborhood. Other restaurants coming to the area shortly include Five Points Pizza’s slice shop and COA.
