Bar concept Skinny Dennis is getting ready to open its door this coming year at 2635 Gallatin Pike.

Co-owner Zephaniah O’Hora shared with What Now Nashville that the team is planning to open in March, though he did not have an exact opening date to provide.

Named after country musician Skinny Dennis Sanchez, the bar concept first opened in Brooklyn in 2013. O’Hora previously shared with What Now Nashville that the spot will have a honky-tonk feeling. It will be similar to the original spot in Brooklyn.

“Skinny Dennis is located in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The bar features 18 beers on draft, our signature cocktails, a vintage jukebox and our IN-famous Willie’s Frozen Coffee,” the Skinny Dennis website states. “Since February 2013, Skinny Dennis has been home to some of the best live country and roots music in New York City.”

Like the Skinny Dennis in Brooklyn, Skinny Dennis Nashville will offer live music every day. In addition to the bar, Skinny Dennis will have chef-driven concept Little Miss Mao serving a food menu inside the venue.
