New York-based speakeasy-style omakase concept Sushi By Bou is planning to open a location in Nashville, according to an Instagram post.

“We’re spreading the sushi love to Nashville!” the announcement states. “Don’t miss out on the fun — let’s roll, Nashville!

Sushi by Bou falls into the portfolio of hospitality group Simple Venue. CEO Erika London confirmed in a phone call with What Now Nashville that they do have plans to bring the concept to Nashville soon, though she did not share further details at this time.

A spokesperson with the company said they would be releasing more details about the opening in the coming weeks. As of now, an exact location has not been revealed.

The timed omakase concept offers 30-minute and 60-minute dining experiences, with chefs serving customers directly at the sushi counter and guiding them through the experience, according to the Sushi By Bou website.

“Our classic Sushi By Bou experience includes a timed chef’s choice 12-piece omakase,” the website states. “For extra time at the chef’s counter, and additional pieces, upgrade to our Bougie option. Come early, and stay late, to enjoy our craft cocktails, imported sake selection and high-energy vibes.”

The brand currently has locations in New York, New Jersey, Florida, Chicago, Philadelphia, Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C.
