Latin American concept Tantisimo is taking shape in Sylvan Park. A recent announcement on their Instagram page showcased renovations progressing in the space at 306 46th Avenue N.
Though the team was originally hoping to open the spot last year, as previously reported by What Now Nashville, the concept is now expected to open this spring.
“With construction near completion and the menus taking shape, we’re gearing up to open in a few short months!” the Jan. 16 Instagram announcement stated.
Owners Ana Aguilar, Josh Cook and Maria Escamilla launched Tantisimo at farmers markets before moving onto a brick-and-mortar venture.
“We were so lucky to land here,” Aguilar told What Now Nashville in a previous interview. “I love that it’s a building with some history. I love that a lot of the neighborhood already knows us from the Richland Park Farmers’ Market. We got a lot of support for the concept from our neighborhood regulars who are looking forward to visiting the space. We’ve gotten to know more of the Sylvan Park community as we’ve done our due diligence for this project, and it’s great seeing the neighbors engage and care for the community.”
