Los Angeles’ popular coffee bars, Go Get Em Tiger and G&B Coffee, are looking to expand throughout the city by next year.
The company, owned and operated by Kyle Glanville, recently posted a Craigslist ad looking for a new store development coordinator. The ad states the company has “the goal of doubling our retail locations in Southern California by 2023 before expanding to new markets.” Glanville and Charles Babinski co-founded the coffee shop in 2007 as Intelligentsia before opening a second location and officially renaming it to its current name. Babinski left the company in 2020 but remained as a co-owner.
To double the number of locations by next year means the company hopes to open nine new locations. Go Get Em Tiger and G&B Coffee can be found in Grand Central Market, Larchmont, Los Feliz, Highland Park, at the Music Center, DTLA, Culver City, West Hollywood, and Santa Monica. Per the ad, the company will likely expand to other nearby cities once it opens a few more stores in Los Angeles.
GGET takes pride in being more than just another coffee shop. On top of the fantastic coffee, the company also offers membership to an exclusive coffee club. A subscription to the program lets one in on super-special coffees from around the globe. Go Get Em Tiger also collaborates with other businesses and collaborators to offer special coffee kits. Currently, the coffee shop has tapped rapper Freddie Gibbs to release a limited-time coffee that includes a very special coffee, a Big Rabbit Roasters beefy T, Big Rabbit x GGET mug, and a decal.
