American chain restaurant Lazy Dog hopes to add a new location in Downtown Los Angeles, located at 800 W. Olympic Dr. Ste. 180.

The proposed 7,668 square-foot restaurant will move into L.A. live with a 1,671 square-foot patio. The exact opening date of this new location is unknown, considering the company recently submitted documents to the LA City Planning Department. Lazy Dog already has a handful of sites in Los Angeles County, with other locations in Colorado, Texas, Illinois, Nevada, Virginia, Georgia, and Florida. The company also has a new location coming to Alpharetta, GA, in early 2023.

Lazy Dog will join several other restaurants already in the 24-hour event venue, including Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse, Katsuya, Yard House, and more. The new addition will bring even more American comfort food, featuring everything from small plates and salads to burgers and hearty entrees. One of the more interesting parts of the menu is their TV dinners, Made in-house, frozen in retro-style trays, and ready to pop in the oven when you need them. Lazy Dog also features plenty of desserts, a weekend brunch menu, and happy hour with several draft beers, wines, and cocktails.

“We have sourced ingredients from places and farmers we love and respect,” says founder Chris Simms. “Each ingredient we use is carefully picked and prepared. We make every meal by hand each day, including all of our sauces, marinades, and dressings. We also have a seasonal menu, which is our ode to the current season, and where we celebrate Mother Nature’s beautiful bounty the best way we know how.”
