Kitchen Mouse, the Los Angeles-based bakery that focuses on catering, is opening a new walk-up window in Mount Washington, located at 4503 N Figueroa St.
The company’s third location will be moving into the former home of Yum Yum Donuts at an unknown time, according to the company’s website. Kitchen Mouse started in Highland Park with its original cafe at 111 S. Avenue 59, featuring a full breakfast and lunch menu. A few years later, owner Erica Daking expanded the business by opening a bakery behind the cafe, offering coffee and bakery items. Now, Kitchen Mouse will be reaching even more people with this new walk-up window not too far from the company’s original location.
The exact opening date of this new location is unknown, but customers can expect some of the company’s baked goods and snacks in a grab-and-go manner. Daking will likely use this walk-up window as an opportunity to add new items to the company’s menu. If she doesn’t, customers can still expect classic dishes served at the other two Kitchen Mouse locations, such as muffins, cookies, and bagels for breakfast, and sandwiches, tacos, and wraps for lunch.
For anyone who wants to give Kitchen Mouse’s food a try without having to leave their house, the company takes pride in its online orders. Whether you’re looking to cater a big event or want to order something from the cafe, customers can go on their website and order from there. Kitchen Mouse also has gift cards available to purchase online.
